Behind the Collaboration: A Note From Ryan
"Young the Giant has been one of my favorite bands for a long time, but for some reason, 'My Body' hit me in a way no other song did. It wasn't just music anymore - it was something I held onto during the toughest times after my injury.
When I first heard it, I was so frustrated with everything my body couldn't do. But that line, "My body tells me no, but I won't quit," was what I needed, reminding me that even with all my limits, I could still keep fighting.
Young the Giant didn't just give me a song - they gave me something to push me forward. I can't thank them enough for that - for helping me keep going when things got really rough. That connection grew into something even bigger. When we realized how closely our missions aligned - mine with Neuro, theirs with their music - it felt natural to partner together.
Just like 'My Body' pushed me to keep going, Neuro is all about giving people the mental clarity and focus to overcome obstacles and be their best selves. Working with Young the Giant to raise awareness for mental health felt like the perfect way to bring that shared vision to life.
Our collaboration isn't just about us. A portion of proceeds will be donated to a mental health organization, so together, we're hoping to make a real difference in people's lives.
