Imagine fulfilling the longing and leading the life of razor sharp clarity that we all hunger for while dozing off with a clear mind every single night before you went to bed. Through a glimpse of grim darkness, entering into me is an eternal exhale fortified with a touch of emboldening light. Perhaps a camouflaged invitation to deeper aliveness utterly profound and sobering in its simplicity, is the invaluable gift of being unanticipatedly shaken into living.
Each and every one of us exist within a never-ending merry-go-round of responsibilities.
Whether you claim that you play by your own rules in life or not, the bombardment of emails, picking up groceries, dropping off the kids at school if you’re a parent, media presence on every corner, traffic lights, etc can cause a state of craze that’ll send your mind through a maze. Admittingly, I check my social media sites more times than I consciously count per day and have worked on practicing catching myself robbing the bliss of the moment by scrolling through and adding more stimulus to the mind than it truly needs. As odd as it may sound, living a full life with mental clarity stems from indeed losing the mind and the unnecessary thoughts that continuously flow and crowd a state of tranquility. Think about it; at any moment, your life and/or the individual that you are supposedly spending time with while scanning social media sites could be gone before you know it. When was the last time that your mind reached a state of absolute nothingness? Thought so.
Right now, you are here. Right now, I am directly aware and intentionally aligned with the sharpening of my five senses and consciously directing my mind toward the release of oxytocin and endorphins. I glow in the morning sun as strands of daylight penetrate uncharted inner waters and enliven an intellectual extravaganza unfurling like the birth of a galaxy. I tear the seams of my scars, sew up my excruciating wounds and am consequently more in tune. I enthusiastically invite the sultry, crisp air to whisper secrets to my fluorescent cloak as I walk around this splendidly lush world and witness neoteric phenomenons occur. I metamorphose beyond superficial ossifying psychological confines and soar free into an open and nameless sky. I am a treasure chest abounding with gold releasing bioluminescent flying jewels throughout the enchantedly captivated room. I cognitively develop beyond a looping state of mind as the heavenly chorus expressed by crepuscular creatures serves as a calculating teacher.
There is a mystical energy within the bleakness of the moment. It brings out the deepest demons and presents the chance to confront them while calling attention to your internal locus leading you toward your shadow self. The vast starkness, entrancing internal expanse, grittiness and unending horizon of the moment pushes dense inner matters to deeper, more personal and metaphysical realms that long for presence. Choose to gaze into a new world of previously unexamined and unimagined beauty. I recommend to rise with the blinding rays of truth and by evening, rest with the radiant coloration and silence bestowed through sweet momentous and bewitching inner alchemy guiding toward eternal springs. Charisma lies in the uncalculated. Oh, the silent echo of the unknown.

If you’re unfamiliar with the phrase, Brain Fog is a term used for those moments when your thoughts become suddenly unclear. You become unfocused. Simple math somehow becomes challenging. It’s a scary feeling for most people — a sudden loss of control of the most important part of their body. As we get older, these moments become more common, but dismissing them as a normal part of aging can be a mistake. People remain sharp well into their 90's.
So what’s the cause? What makes the difference between that sharp-minded 90-something and the 30-something that gets recurring episodes of forgetfulness?
The Zeigarnik Effect shows that "when we don’t finish a task, we experience discomfort and elusive thoughts because of it.” As humans, we cope with this discomfort by either escaping into a mode of complacency or taking action. If you're caught in between, take it one step at a time. Your brain and body will thank you.
